Mishustin pointed out the need for the latest technological solutions in the Russian Federation

Russia needs more of the latest technological solutions prepared by domestic science to deal with the challenges facing the country. This was announced on June 24 by Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin at the strategic session "A Model for the development of Science."

He recalled the words of Russian President Vladimir Putin that all domestic fundamental scientific developments should be developed and allow the formation of new industries and markets.

"This is especially important now, when the country is facing a large number of challenges, and all key areas need more of the latest practically oriented solutions produced on their own basis. This means that the role of our scientists, innovators, technologists, testers, and the entire community is significantly increasing," the Prime Minister said.

In addition, Mishustin noted that the Russian Federation has all the key components for the formation of a new model for the development of science in the country. He expressed the hope that the approaches and solutions that are planned to be determined taking into account the goals and objectives set by the President of Russia will become the basis for further decisions and development in this area.

The Head of government also stressed that national projects will be the basis of the Russian science development model. According to him, their result will be the creation of specific high-tech products, taking into account the needs of both industries and companies.

Earlier, on June 20, Putin instructed the Russian government to prepare an annual report on the technological development of the state. He also stressed that over the past two years, the number of applications for inventions from Russian companies and scientific organizations has increased by 13%. The Head of State called this a good indicator.
