Russians talked about the use of AI in the professional field

Artificial intelligence (AI) is rapidly entering the professional life of Russians: almost half of the respondents (48%) are already using AI tools in their work, according to a study by the Russian School of Management (RSHU). The results were reviewed by Izvestia on June 25.
According to a study by analysts, AI's popularity has almost doubled in a year — in 2024, only 27% of specialists used it.
The majority of Russians (81%) see artificial intelligence as a new career opportunity. Technology is most often used for text preparation, automation of routine tasks, and training.
According to analysts, AI has ceased to be a niche tool, it is becoming as familiar as office software.
AI is most in demand in design, marketing and IT. At the same time, 86% of respondents are either already working with such technologies or plan to start in the near future.
"The growing popularity of AI in the professional environment is a natural stage of digital transformation. It is especially significant that technologies are massively penetrating not only the technical, but also the humanitarian spheres: marketing, design, communications. This suggests that modern AI tools have really become convenient and accessible to users without special training," concluded Anastasia Borovskaya, director of the Russian School of Management.
Earlier, on June 1, it was reported that up to 20% of employees may lose their jobs due to the growth of artificial intelligence capabilities. It could also lead to the destruction of 50% of entry-level white-collar jobs.
