A woman and a baby fell into a construction pit in Kerch

In Kerch, a woman and a child fell into an unfenced pit on Voikov Street. Information about this incident appeared on social networks, the press service of the main Directorate of the Investigative Committee of Russia for Crimea and Sevastopol reported on Tuesday, June 24.

According to investigators, the company's employees left a pit filled with water. A mother with a nine-month-old baby fell into it. The Kerch woman and the baby did not receive any injuries.

According to IA SevastopolMedia, the dangerous place was not fenced or marked in any way. An inspection was organized under Article 293 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation "Negligence". The persons responsible for repairs and safety at the facility are being identified.
