Large-scale landscaping awaits Karl Marx Street in Krasnoyarsk

Large-scale landscaping of Karl Marx Street will take place in Krasnoyarsk. Now the city authorities are looking for a contractor to develop the project documentation.

The works are timed to coincide with the 400th anniversary of the regional capital, writes KrasnoyarskMedia news agency. The repair will affect a section 3.8 km from Vokzalnaya Street to Belinsky.

The builders will have to renovate the roadway, equip pedestrian zones, hide wires and contact lines underground, carry out landscaping and arrange stops and other facilities in a uniform style.

Krasnoyarsk will celebrate its 400th birthday in 2028. The regional authorities have already approved a program of preparation for the anniversary celebration. There are plans, in particular, to renovate 15 cross streets in the city center, four of them in the current season.
