Two wagons with sheet steel derailed in Lipetsk region

In the Yelets district of the Lipetsk region, two wagons loaded with sheet steel derailed. According to the regional Ministry of Emergency Situations, it happened on Tuesday, June 24, in the early morning.

The accident involving a shunting locomotive occurred at 05:55 in the area of the Telegino railway station. The reason for the derailment has not yet been determined.

There is no damage to the railway tracks, and there are no delays in the movement of freight and passenger trains. There is no information about the dead and injured, GOROD48 writes.

Earlier, on June 19, it was reported that 11 freight train cars derailed at the Kargapolye station in the Kurgan region. There were no casualties or fatalities as a result of this incident. In addition, train traffic on the Kamensk-Uralsky–Kurgan section was temporarily suspended.
