Anapa Mayor Vasily Shvets resigned

Anapa Mayor Vasily Shvets resigned of his own accord. This was announced on June 24 by the press service of the Krasnodar Territory administration.

They clarified that the decision was supported by deputies of the City Council. Alexander Topalov, Deputy Head of the region, on behalf of Governor Veniamin Kondratiev, thanked the mayor for the work done, noting the steady growth of the economy, the well-being of residents and the development of infrastructure.

Shvets became the mayor of Anapa in August 2020 and left the post due to the transition to a new place of work. First Deputy Mayor Svetlana Balayeva will become the acting mayor, according to the Telegram channel of the authorities.

On June 6, it was reported that Marcel Minnullin resigned as Minister of Health of the Republic of Tatarstan at his own request. He is a candidate of medical sciences and an honored doctor of the region.
