The child injured in Sheremetyevo is in serious condition.

The child, whom the man threw on the floor at Sheremetyevo airport, is in serious but stable condition. This is reported by the press service of the Ministry of Health of the Moscow region.

"The injured child was taken to the L. M. Roshal Recreation Center. At the moment, his condition is assessed as serious and stable. Doctors provide all necessary medical care," the ministry said.

According to the Izvestia source, he was seriously injured.

"Fracture of the spine and cranial vault," the source said.

Izvestia has footage showing a man grabbing a child standing by a suitcase and forcefully throwing him to the floor.

Earlier that day, Investigators of the Investigative Committee (IC) of Russia for the Moscow Region opened a criminal case into the attempted murder of a two-year-old child at Sheremetyevo airport in the city of Khimki. The incident occurred on June 23. According to the investigation, the man, being in the arrivals area of the airport in a state of drug intoxication, grabbed the child and violently threw him to the floor. The boy was hospitalized in a medical facility for assistance.
