The Dutch authorities have allocated a new €175 million package of military assistance to Ukraine. This was announced on June 24 by the country's Defense Minister Ruben Brekelmans.

"I am also announcing a new €175 million [aid] package, including radar systems, unmanned aerial vehicles and drones," Brekelmans wrote on the social network X (ex. Twitter).

In addition, he added that the Netherlands has signed contracts with the Ukrainian side for the production of 600,000 drones.

Dan Caldwell, a former adviser to the head of the Pentagon, said on June 20 that the United States could stop military support for Ukraine amid the escalation of the conflict between Israel and Iran. According to him, Washington probably will not be able to transfer Patriots to Ukraine anymore, as they will be needed to protect American troops in the event of a further escalation of the conflict with Iran.

Prior to that, on June 6, the leader of the Patriots party, Florian Philippot, said that French President Emmanuel Macron, having undertaken to help the Kiev authorities, did not leave a single cent for the army of his own country, giving all the national money to Ukraine.
