Russia hopes for a sustainable ceasefire between Iran and Israel. This was announced on June 24 by Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov.

"If a ceasefire has really been achieved, then this can only be welcomed. <...> Therefore, yes, it can and should be welcomed, and we hope that it will be a sustainable ceasefire," Peskov said at a briefing.
