A new commemorative date will appear in the Murmansk region

A new commemorative date will be established in the Murmansk region. October 21 will be declared the Day of creation of the Murmansk Regional Council of Trade Unions. This is stated in the draft law, which was discussed by deputies of the regional Duma at a meeting of the relevant committee.

Bi-port news agency also reports that the Duma has considered raising administrative fines. Thus, it is planned to increase fines for noisy neighbors and construction workers, for the destruction of rare species of flora and fauna, and for spontaneous trade.

In addition, the document provides for the maintenance of eight new administrative offences. The deputy head of the committee, Yuri Shadrin, said that if the bill is passed, fines will be issued in the region for violations when traveling on public transport, for improper handling of animals, and for violations of landscaping rules.

Earlier, on June 16, it was reported that hiking trails would be legalized in the Murmansk region. The new rule will regulate issues related to the creation, operation and management of hiking trails. There are plans to create an all-Russian register of tourist trails, which will include data on the purpose of the route, complexity and key attractions.
