With the death of People's Artist of the RSFSR Valentina Talyzina, the viewer says goodbye to the Soviet theater and cinema. On June 24, Sergey Baburin, Honorary President of the Omsk community, told Izvestia.

"We are saying goodbye not only to the great actress, we are saying goodbye to the Soviet cinema, the Soviet theater, which was different. He was tremulous and tough, he was ironic and simple, but he was always kind," he said.

Baburin added that Talyzina has always been a representative of the Omsk theatrical tradition.

The farewell ceremony for the People's Artist of the RSFSR is taking place at the Mossovet Theater in Moscow.

Talyzina died on June 21. She played more than 40 central and main roles in the Mossovet Theater and performed about 100 film roles. The actress is known for the films "Irony of Fate, or With a light steam!", "Zigzag luck", "Old robbers", "Athos" and other works.

Russian President Vladimir Putin called the actress a talented person, passionate about what she loves, and stressed that the memory of Talyzina will remain in the hearts of her loved ones, relatives and admirers.
