A case was opened in the Moscow region after a man attacked a child at the airport.

Investigators of the Investigative Committee (IC) of Russia for the Moscow region have opened a criminal case into the attempted murder of a 2-year-old child at the airport in the city of Khimki. This was announced on June 24 by the press service of the Main Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee of the Moscow region.

"An investigator of the investigative department for the city of Khimki of the GSU of the Investigative Committee of Russia for the Moscow region has opened a criminal case on the attempted murder of a 2-year—old child under Part 3 of Article 30 of paragraphs "b, and" part 2 of Article 105 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation)," the agency wrote on the Telegram channel.
