Katz instructed the IDF to launch new attacks on Tehran in response to the Iranian shelling

Israeli Defense Minister Yisrael Katz said he had instructed the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) to strike Tehran in response to Iranian shelling after the ceasefire was announced. This was reported by The Times of Israel on June 24.

"I ordered the IDF to respond decisively to Iran's violation of the ceasefire by launching intense strikes against regime targets in the very center of Tehran," he said.

Earlier in the day, the IDF recorded rocket launches from Iran after the ceasefire was announced. It is specified that a few hours after the missile hit Beersheba, additional launches from Iran were recorded in the northern region.
