Syria has opened its airspace


Syria has opened its airspace for flights, it has been temporarily closed since June 18. The country's Civil aviation authority informed about this on June 24.
"The airspace has been reopened for navigation, which returned to normal operation from 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday after the lifting of restrictions imposed on June 18, 2025," the department's Facebook page says (owned by Meta, a company whose activities are recognized as extremist and banned in the Russian Federation).
Earlier in the day, Qatar's General Directorate of Civil Aviation announced the opening of the airspace for flights. The regulator also thanked for ensuring flight safety.
