The US Armed Forces have intercepted at least five unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) heading to attack American bases in Iraq. This was reported by The Wall Street Journal (WSJ) on June 24, citing sources.

"American forces intercepted at least five drone strikes launched against their bases near Baghdad airport and in western Iraq," the newspaper reported.

It is noted that there were no casualties among US citizens or damage to American facilities.

Attacks on three Iraqi military bases were also recorded. No casualties were reported as a result of these strikes.

Earlier in the day, an explosion occurred in the area of the Taji military base, located north of Baghdad. It was reported that the incident was related to an unidentified drone attack.

On the same day, it was reported that Iran launched 11 missiles at US military bases in Qatar and Iraq during Operation Good News of Victory. According to the Qatari Defense Ministry, there were no casualties as a result of the attack on the Al-Udeid base.
