The IDF reported the fifth rocket launch from Iran overnight.

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) on Tuesday, June 24, announced Iran's fifth launch of a series of missiles towards Israeli territory overnight.

"Some time ago, sirens sounded in several areas in northern Israel after the detection of rockets launched from Iran towards the state of Israel," the IDF said in a Telegram channel.

They called on the population to follow the instructions of the Rear Command, as the defense is "not airtight."

The Iranian strikes are being countered by some of the most serious missile defense and air defense systems in the world.

Earlier in the day, the IDF had already reported a new launch of Iranian missiles towards Israel. Later it became known that several people were injured and at least three died when rockets landed in Beersheba. Rescuers are working on the spot.
