Valentina, the mother of Alexander Arkhipov, the director of the Olympic Reserve College, denied suggestions that her son's behavior had been erratic in the last days of his life. The corresponding footage is published by Izvestia on June 24.

"There was nothing, nothing at all. There were [no oddities]," the woman said in response to a question from Izvestia correspondent Pavel Ponomarev.

At the same time, she noted that she was interested in her son's life and tried to find out about his affairs, but did not receive any specific answers from him.

In addition, the published footage captures a view of the very road where the murder took place.

On June 23, a double murder occurred in the Tula region, where Alexander Arkhipov, director of the Olympic Reserve College, and his lawyer Evgeny Aksenov were shot dead. According to the investigative Department of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation for the Tula region, a criminal case has now been opened on the grounds of a crime under paragraph "a" of Part 2 of Article 105 of the Criminal Code ("Murder of two people").

Arkhipov's mother also confirmed that her son was killed in a car with his lawyer.
