Trump announced requests for peace from Iran and Israel

Israel and Iran have appealed to US President Donald Trump for peace. On June 23, the American leader announced this on his Truth Social network.

"Israel and Iran came to me almost simultaneously and said, 'Peace!' I knew that the time had come. The world and the Middle East are the real winners!" he said.

Trump pointed out that the two countries expect significant changes in the future — "love, peace and prosperity."

At the same time, he warned about the consequences that countries may face if they abandon the settlement process.

"They will gain so much, but they will also lose so much if they stray from the path of righteousness and truth," the US president wrote.
