A four-year-old boy was hit by a driver in the Tomsk region.

In the Tomsk region, a Gazelle driver without a license hit a four-year-old boy. This was announced on Tuesday, June 24, by the press service of the regional prosecutor's office.

"On June 23, at about 20:30 Moscow time, a traffic accident occurred in the village of Zonalnaya Station in the Tomsk region. The 31-year—old driver, who did not have a license to drive vehicles, hit a four-year-old boy," the Telegram channel of the departments said.

The child was hospitalized with a fractured skull base.

A criminal case has been opened on the fact of violation of traffic rules by a person without a license, which negligently caused serious harm to health (Part 2 of Article 264 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation). The Prosecutor's office is establishing the circumstances and causes of the incident.

On June 15, in the Voronezh Region, on the 717th km of the Don highway, a 50-year-old minivan driver drove off the road in the rain and crashed into a metal support of a video recording device. Two of his sons, born in 2011 and 2016, were killed in the accident, and another passenger was hospitalized with injuries.
