A visitor to the Taigan Park helped to save Oleg Zubkov from a lion

Oleg Zubkov, the director of the Crimean safari park "Taigan", was rescued from a lion attack by one of the park visitors who came to the rescue. This was announced on June 24 by the organization's press secretary, Tatiana Aleksagina, in the Telegram channel.
"The lion didn't want to attack. It's a young lion — young lions, they're all so active, excited. Therefore, when he forcefully pulled the door, for some reason it made such a sound, and the lion was scared. Oleg Alekseevich did not scream and even surprisingly did not moan. He fought as long as he had the strength," she said.
Realizing that she was unable to help Zubkov on her own, the woman ran to the car and began to drive the animal away from the wounded man. At that moment, one of the men who was on the stage at that moment came to the rescue. He helped carry the park director to the car.
"The man was not afraid. <...> This man is a hero," the spokeswoman said.
She clarified that Zubkov is currently conscious in the hospital. The wound on his neck does not allow him to speak loudly, so he communicates more in writing.
A lion attacked the director of the Taigan Park on the afternoon of June 22, injuring the man multiple times. Zubkov was later operated on, and his condition was stabilized. The next day, park spokeswoman Tatiana Aleksagina told Izvestia that Zubkov had attracted Lev's attention by the sharp sound of a door closing.
On June 23, Dmitry Dedkov, Deputy Chief Physician of the Republican Clinical Hospital named after N.A. Semashko, told Izvestia that Zubkov's condition remains stably severe. He added that doctors may conduct an "audit" of the most severe wounds and, based on the results of the examination, will make further decisions on his treatment.
