The calculation of the Hyacinth-B artillery piece of the Zapad group of forces disrupted the rotation of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in the Krasnolimansk area of the special military operation zone. This was announced on June 24 by the press service of the Russian Ministry of Defense.

"The calculation of the 152-millimeter towed artillery gun Hyacinth-B of the artillery regiment of the 25th combined arms army of the Zapad group of forces delivered an accurate fire strike on the accumulation of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Krasnolimansk direction, <...> thereby disrupting the planned rotation of enemy units," the ministry said.

It is specified that the accumulation of enemy manpower and equipment was revealed during aerial reconnaissance using unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs). Further, the intelligence and the exact coordinates of the target were transmitted to the artillery command post.

After aiming at the target, the crew fired a series of rapid-fire shots and successfully hit the area of the AFU cluster.

"The special effectiveness of the task was ensured by adjusting the fire using UAVs, which made it possible to destroy all the targets with minimal ammunition consumption," the Defense Ministry said.

On June 23, the Russian Armed Forces (RF Armed Forces) struck a training center for mobilized Ukrainian Armed Forces soldiers near the city of Sumy with a missile strike.
