- Qatar's Defense Ministry announced Iran's launch of seven missiles at the Al-Udeid base.

Iran has launched seven missiles at the American Al-Udeid airbase in Qatar. This was announced on Monday, June 23, by Deputy Chief of Staff for Joint Operations of the Ministry of Defense of Qatar Shaek Al-Hajri.
"Seven missiles were launched from Iran in the direction of the Al-Udeid airbase. Qatar's defense systems intercepted all but one of the missiles, and one shell landed on the territory of the Al-Udeid airbase. No casualties were reported," Doha News quoted him as saying on the social network X (ex. Twitter).
Jabr Al Nuaimi, an official representative of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Qatar, said that the fragments caused small fires, which were quickly localized.
The Qatari Foreign Ministry said that the kingdom is not going to give up its role as a mediator in the settlement of the Middle East region, and the authorities are considering a "firm and wise" diplomatic response to Iran's attacks.
On June 23, Ynet reported that Iran launched 11 missiles at US bases in the Middle East. According to the secretariat of the Supreme National Security Council of Iran, the number of missiles used in this operation was the same as the number of bombs used by the United States in the attack on the republic's nuclear facilities.
