Reuters reported on Americans' concern about the conflict with Iran


The majority of Americans are concerned about the growing conflict between the United States and Iran, according to a Reuters/Ipsos poll. Moreover, residents of the United States fear an escalation of the Iranian-American conflict.
"About 79% of Americans surveyed said they were concerned that Iran could target U.S. civilians in response to U.S. airstrikes...> About 84% said they were generally concerned about the growing conflict," the Reuters news agency summarizes the survey data.
According to the agency, Americans were worried after US President Donald Trump ordered the bombing of Iranian nuclear facilities.
More than a thousand Americans took part in the survey. The result of the survey showed the disagreement of the country's residents with the policies of Trump, whose approval rating, according to Reuters, fell to a record low of 41%.
Earlier, on June 21, US President Donald Trump announced that the US Armed Forces had attacked three Iranian nuclear facilities. At the same time, he threatened Tehran with new missile strikes if the conflict was not resolved. Later, on June 23, it was reported that Iran had launched an operation against US bases in Qatar and Iraq.
