Iran's parliament intends to suspend cooperation with the IAEA

Iranian Parliament Speaker Mohammad Baqer Qalibaf said that the country plans to suspend cooperation with the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) due to unprofessional behavior on the part of the nuclear agency. This was reported by Tasnim on June 23.
"Iran has no plans for non—peaceful activities, but the world has clearly seen that the IAEA has not fulfilled any of its obligations and has turned into a political instrument," the agency quoted Qalibaf as saying.
According to Tasnim, the Iranian parliament is considering a bill to suspend cooperation with the IAEA until Tehran is provided with guarantees of the professional conduct of the UN nuclear agency.
Qalibaf also commented on the US attack on Iran.
"Although we view this (American) attack as the result of the strategic inability of the Israeli regime to achieve its goals, we will not tolerate this. We will definitely give an answer," said the speaker of the Iranian parliament.
Earlier, on June 21, US President Donald Trump announced that the US Armed Forces had attacked three Iranian nuclear facilities. At the same time, he threatened Tehran with new missile strikes if the conflict was not resolved. Later, on June 23, it was reported that Iran had launched an operation against US bases in Qatar and Iraq.
