Retail alcohol sales will be restricted for two days in the Amur region. Youth Day and graduation balls will be celebrated in the region.

According to PriamurMedia news agency, alcohol trading will be banned in Blagoveshchensk on June 28. In municipalities where graduation ceremonies will be held the day before, the restriction will be in effect on June 27 and 28. The ban does not apply to catering outlets.

The Blagoveshchensk City Hall recalled that officials face a fine of up to 40 thousand rubles for violations, and up to 300 thousand rubles for legal entities.

Earlier, the Ministry of Industry and Trade proposed using biometrics to identify alcohol buyers.
