A cultural program dedicated to Youth Day has been launched in the capital

A Youth Day program has been launched in the capital. Various events are taking place at VDNKh, as well as in parks, museums and cultural centers — a total of 250 locations are involved throughout the city, said Deputy Mayor Natalia Sergunina.

The biggest event is the Youth Day Festival. Its main events will be held on Bolotnaya Square on June 28 and 29. "The festival will be dedicated to patriotism, career, creativity, sports and volunteerism. His main theme is "Know. Love. Be proud. Multiply it.“ The children will have meetings with participants of a special military operation, excursions, charity events, competitions and master classes," Sergunina said.

Artists and musical groups will perform at the festival, career consultations will be organized, artistic plein-airs and workshops on creating souvenirs will be held.

"There will be a lot of interesting things in other districts of the capital," the deputy mayor emphasized.

The city's cultural venues have prepared more than 40 events. For example, VDNKh organizes excursions, including at the Cosmonautics and Aviation Center.

Guests are also expected at the book exhibition "Youth is Fiction" at the ZIL Cultural Center and at the poetry marathon in the House of A.F. Losev, where young authors will read their works.

A youth international festival will be held in Izmailovsky Park. Activities include sports and dance competitions, a graffiti contest, and workshops on spray painting.

The State Darwin Museum will host a quest where participants will learn about current trends in the development of science.

The festival "TiNAO. Attraction", in which youth groups and soloists will perform a concert program. And on the summer veranda of the Zelenograd Cultural Center, novice and experienced drummers will present the Rhythms of the City music project.
