The air defense forces eliminated the drone flying to Moscow

Air defense systems have eliminated a drone of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) flying towards Moscow. This was announced on June 23 by the mayor of the capital, Sergei Sobyanin.

"The Defense Ministry's air defense has repelled an attack by an enemy UAV flying towards Moscow," he wrote on his Telegram channel.

The mayor clarified that emergency services specialists are working at the crash site of the drone.

To do this, the drones had to break through the electronic jamming zones.

Earlier in the day, the Russian Defense Ministry reported the destruction of 23 drones of the Armed Forces of Ukraine over the Russian regions overnight. It was clarified that the air defense forces neutralized the drones over the Rostov, Volgograd and Astrakhan regions.
