Iran's conflict with Israel may complicate bilateral relations between Russia and the United States. This opinion was expressed by State Duma deputy Alexei Chepa on Monday, June 23. He also expressed concern that the confrontation is fraught with serious consequences for the world as a whole.

"This is a serious problem for the world as a whole, it is a step towards the abyss. And the more countries get involved in this confrontation, the closer we will come to this line," the politician warned in a conversation with Lenta.Ru .

He explained that Russia cannot help but react to what is happening, as the consequences of the Middle East conflict may be too global and disastrous for humanity.

"Naturally, all this will not happen just like that. And, of course, it will complicate our bilateral relations, including with the United States. But we cannot but react to such a dangerous situation in the world," the parliamentarian concluded.

Earlier, US President Donald Trump said that if Iranian politicians do not implement the slogan "make Iran great again," then there may be a change of power in Tehran.

Trump also accompanied his publication with the acronym MIGA (Make Iran Great Again), which is a reference to his political slogan MAGA (Make America Great Again), IA Regnum reports.

On June 21, the American leader announced that the US Armed Forces had attacked three Iranian nuclear facilities, writes Pravda.Ru . On the same day, he threatened Tehran with new missile strikes if the conflict was not resolved.
