Ryabkov announced a blow to the security architecture after the US attack on Iran

The US attack on Iran has become a powerful political blow to the security architecture. This was stated on June 23 by Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov to a correspondent of Izvestia.
"It is a fact that a very powerful blow has been dealt to the security architecture, and this blow is politically more powerful than what we have seen in relation specifically to the Fordo, Natanz and Isfahan facilities," he said.
According to him, it is no coincidence that there is such a degree of anxiety and concern around the world. Ryabkov recalled that many countries condemned Washington's actions and issued joint statements. He also noted the existing experience on international platforms and noted the consideration of the draft resolution initiated by the Russian Federation, China and Pakistan.
Ryabkov expressed the hope that in the policy of the United States there remains a share of responsibility for what is happening. According to him, he expects that the American side will accept the logic and arguments used by other states in an attempt to protect the foundations of the security system that have not yet been destroyed.
Earlier in the day, Ryabkov stressed that Russia was alarmed by the US strike on Iranian territory. He also clarified that Moscow and Tehran are working in different directions. The Russian Deputy Foreign Minister declined to disclose details of the cooperation.
