Likhachev stated that there was no need to evacuate personnel from the Bushehr NPP

The security situation at the Bushehr nuclear power plant in Iran has not worsened due to the conflict between the republic and Israel, and there is no need to evacuate personnel and their families, but Rosatom is ready for this. This was announced on June 23 by the head of the state corporation Alexey Likhachev.
"Thank God, the situation has not changed directly at the Bushehr site, the situation has not changed, it has definitely not worsened," he said in an interview with journalist Pavel Zarubin. The correspondent posted a fragment of it on his Telegram channel.
Likhachev added that Rosatom is ready to evacuate the first part of the people, if necessary, and is ready to switch to a more closed work schedule. He also said that women and children are supposed to be the first to leave, but less than half of the families are ready to leave without their husbands.
"All the strikes were quite far from the station, hundreds of kilometers away," Likhachev summed up.
Earlier in the day, explosions were reported in Iran in the satellite city of the Bushehr NPP. It is also specified that the Iranian air defense forces were involved in Damavand, Tehran, Yazd and Tabriz.
