The Chery Tiggo 7L was included in the list of best-selling SUVs in Russia for the first time.

The Chery Tiggo 7L crossover, which went on sale in April and differs from the regular Tiggo of the seventh series in its increased body length, for the first time entered the top ten bestsellers in the SUV segment (crossovers and SUVs) in Russia. This was reported on June 23 by the analytical agency Autostat.

Thus, according to the results of the 25th week of this year (June 16-22), 425 new Chery Tiggo 7L crossovers were sold in the Russian Federation. In the sales ranking in the SUV segment, the model took tenth place. The Haval Jolion crossover still retains its leadership, with sales of 872 vehicles last week.

Changan Uni-S is in second place with 814 machines sold, and Belgee X50 is in third place (769 units). Geely Monjaro and Lada Niva Legend complete the top five (640 and 618 units, respectively). Next are the Chery Tiggo 4, Lada Niva Travel, Jetour Dashing and Haval M6.

On June 9, it became known that the Lada Largus station wagon entered the top five of the Russian car market for the first time since November last year. The last time the model was there was at the end of the 46th week of 2024.

Prior to that, on May 28, it was reported that the start of sales of all-wheel drive Chery Tiggo 7L crossovers in Russia is scheduled for the fall of this year. It is assumed that the appearance of a new transmission will not lead to changes in the power unit of the SUV. Currently, the model is only available in front-wheel drive.
