The doctor called Zubkov's condition stably serious after the lion attack.

Oleg Zubkov, director of the Crimean lion park "Taigan", remains in stable condition after the lion attack. Dmitry Dedkov, Deputy Chief Physician of the Republican Clinical Hospital named after N. A. Semashko, told Izvestia about this on June 23.
"The patient's condition remains stable and severe. Without negative dynamics. He's conscious. He answers questions and communicates," the doctor said.
He added that today, perhaps, they will conduct an "audit" of the most severe wounds. According to him, based on the results of the examination, further decisions on his treatment will be made.
Earlier that day, it became known that Zubkov was transported to the N.A. Semashko Hospital in Simferopol after being attacked by a lion.
The predator's attack on the director of the Taigan Park became known on June 22. The head of the zoo in Mariupol, Savely Vashura, a colleague of the victim, noted that Zubkov always communicated with predators as with small children. Later it became known that Zubkov was operated on and left until morning at the Belgorod Central Regional Hospital.
