After the US attacks, no radiation leaks from Iranian nuclear facilities were recorded, which indicates the stability of Iran's nuclear program. This was stated by Igor Yushkov, an expert at the Financial University and a leading analyst at the National Energy Security Fund, in an interview with Izvestia on June 23.

"So far, we see that the IAEA (International Atomic Energy Agency. — Ed.) just does not record radiation leakage at any facility that has been attacked by Israel and the United States. There is no radiation anywhere, either underground or above ground, as they point out. Therefore, we proceed solely from the IAEA monitoring data. And this, by the way, may also indicate that the nuclear program has not suffered any fatal damage in this regard," the source said.

According to Yushkov, if Iran really suffered significant losses after the American attacks, this could push the country to find a diplomatic solution and conclude an agreement with the United States. However, if Tehran does not take such steps, it may mean that some nuclear facilities remain intact.

"Of course, the Americans will claim that they have destroyed everything, achieved their goals, and everything is wonderful and wonderful, and they are doing well. What is the reality at the underground facility (in Ford. — Ed.) it's hard to say. Yes, of course, we see damage at two other facilities that are located on the ground, of course, something is damaged there," the expert concluded.

On the same day, the IAEA press service, citing the agency's Director General, Rafael Grossi, said that destruction had been recorded at three Iranian nuclear facilities after American airstrikes. Grossi stressed the importance of involving Iran and the United States in diplomatic negotiations on the cessation of hostilities.

American leader Donald Trump announced on June 21 that the United States had attacked three Iranian nuclear facilities in Fordo, Natanz and Isfahan. He then threatened Tehran with new strikes if peace was not achieved. On June 22, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi accused the United States of violating the UN Charter, international law and the Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons.
