The weather forecaster predicted a rainy and windy week in Moscow

The weather in Moscow will remain cool and rainy this week. Tatiana Pozdnyakova, a leading expert at Meteonosti, told Izvestia about the weather for the upcoming week on June 23.
In the coming days, partly cloudy weather is expected at night without rain, but short-term rains will occur in Moscow in the afternoon. The temperature will drop by 1-1.5 degrees below the climatic norm: at night, the thermometer will show +10...+12 degrees, during the day — +20 ...+22 degrees. However, due to gusty winds up to 12-14 m/s, there will be no comfortable warmth.
"Windy weather with similar temperature indicators will continue on Wednesday. Starting from Thursday, the situation will worsen as northwesterly currents will bring additional cooling. Night temperatures will be +9...+14 degrees, daytime temperatures +15...+20 degrees," the forecaster said.
Exceeding the mark of 20 degrees on Saturday can be considered a gift of the outgoing June, Pozdnyakova noted. By the end of the month, the maximum temperature in Moscow will not rise above 25 degrees.
The weather forecaster stressed that the weather pattern will remain unstable — precipitation of varying intensity, from light to moderate rains, awaits Muscovites almost daily. Such conditions are associated with a series of cyclones that will continue to determine the weather in the metropolitan area throughout the week.
Earlier, on June 20, Pozdnyakova told Izvestia that rainy weather would remain in Moscow until the end of June. According to her, the coming days in Moscow will be characterized by variable clouds with short-term rains, which will no longer be as prolonged and intense as before.
