The Librarians: The Next Chapter series starts on viju

The sequel to the iconic film franchise returns with new characters and dangerous adventures, but with the same humor and attempts to preserve peace and sanity. On July 1, the Librarians: The Next Chapter series will exclusively launch on the viju streaming service, which will be the first to show the new product after the world premiere. This is a spin-off to the franchise, where the main character is the wayward keeper of artifacts Vikram Chamberlain. In his era, he got into a mystical rework and... moved 200 years ahead to the present day.

Now the main goal of a time traveler is to return home. But his castle turned into a museum in two centuries, and the magic that was accidentally released began to spread throughout the continent. The librarian will have to deal with the consequences with new "colleagues" in order to prevent a catastrophe of universal proportions and find his way back to his era. The charming Callum McGowan ("Marie Antoinette") played the role of Chamberlain. He skillfully balances between a noble gentleman and a walking problem. His partner on the set was Christian Kane ("Loot the Loot", "Supernatural"), to the delight of the fans. You will also meet Jessica Green ("Sparkle: The Unicorn Story") and Olivia Morris ("Portofino Hotel"), who have managed to add some light drama and excitement to the series.

The executive producer and screenwriter was Dean Devlin, who launched this franchise. He worked on three parts of the film and the first series. The director's chair was shared by Suri Krishnamma ("Canterville Ghost"), Milan Todorovich ("Besa"), Milena Gruic ("Ark") and Orsi Nagpal ("Outpost").

The first season consists of 12 episodes. In each episode, you will find new plot twists, witty dialogues, sudden encounters and a well-known fantasy atmosphere. The creators of the series tried to combine dynamics, magic and humor in the right proportions.

On July 1, watch "Librarians: The Next Chapter" on viju. The first 7 episodes will appear on streaming immediately. New episodes will be released once a week – the day after the premiere in the United States.
