Military investigators have documented the circumstances of particularly serious crimes committed by the armed formations of Ukraine (AFU). This was announced on June 23 by the official representative of the Investigative Committee (IC) of the Russian Federation Svetlana Petrenko.
"On June 16, 2025, in the evening, Ukrainian militants launched a missile attack on residential buildings in the village of Prigorodny Slobodka in the Rylsky district of the Kursk region," she said.
As a result of the incident, more than 10 private residential buildings were significantly damaged. According to her, parts of the American multiple launch rocket system (MLRS) HIMARS were found at the scene.
On the same day, a 77-year-old man was killed as a result of a Ukrainian drone strike in the village of 2nd Muzitsa in the Glushkovsky district. Also, a resident of the village of Goncharovka died after the attack of the VFU drone.
"On June 17, Ukrainian servicemen launched a missile attack on the civilian infrastructure of the village of Zvannoye in the Glushkovsky district of the Kursk region. As a result, two local residents were killed," Petrenko added.
She stressed that criminal cases of terrorist attacks have been initiated for all the crimes committed. Investigators continue to clarify all the circumstances of the incident.
On June 15, Petrenko said that the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation began investigating the injury of two residents of Rylsk, Kursk region, as a result of an attack by the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) on residential buildings. It is specified that as a result of the attack, a local resident and her mother, who is currently in intensive care, were injured.
