Los Angeles Police have deleted a message of condolences to Iran.

The Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department in California expressed its condolences to Iran in connection with the US strikes on nuclear facilities, and subsequently deleted this post. The Fox News channel reported this on June 23.
"We express our condolences to the victims and families affected by the recent bombings in Iran," the Los Angeles Police Department said in a post posted on the social network X (ex. Twitter).
According to the TV channel, at first the agency deleted the mention of the US strikes, and then it decided to delete the post completely. An internal audit is being conducted to determine the circumstances of the publication.
On June 21, US President Donald Trump announced a successful attack on three Iranian nuclear facilities. He later threatened Tehran with new strikes if peace was not achieved.
