The High-Precision Complexes Holding Company (part of Rostec State Corporation) has handed over to the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation the supply of the latest short-range anti-aircraft guided missiles for the Pantsir anti-aircraft missile and cannon complex. This was announced on June 23 in the press service of the holding.

It is noted that such mini-missiles will increase the ammunition capacity of the Pantsir to 48 rounds. At the same time, the complex can intercept a larger number of aerial targets, such as drones.

"Small—sized ammunition is designed to fight a wide range of targets in the near zone, including unmanned aerial vehicles," the Telegram channel said.

In addition, the Pantsir calculations have acquired the ability to install combinations of missiles of different sizes, which will expand the variability of means for hitting targets in the sky.

On June 1, Rostec spoke about the work on creating a new line of aircraft for the needs of military transport aviation, as well as the transfer of new IL-76MD-90A aircraft to the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation.
