The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) condemned the attacks by the US Armed Forces on Iran's nuclear infrastructure and regarded them not only as a violation of the sovereignty of the state, but also as a violation of the UN Charter. This was reported by the KCNA news Agency on June 23.

"The DPRK strongly condemns the US military attack on Iran, regarding it as a gross violation of the UN Charter, the basic principle of which is respect for sovereignty and non-interference in internal affairs, and the rules of other international rights, territorial integrity and security interests of a sovereign state," the agency quoted a representative of the DPRK Foreign Ministry as saying.

It is noted that the tense situation in the Middle East occurred, according to the department, due to the "reckless bravery" of Israel, which, together with the United States, used force against Iran. This, as it is specified, undermines the foundation of the global world.

In this regard, the international community must collectively condemn the "hostile actions" of Israel and the United States.

China's Permanent Representative to the United Nations, Fu Cong, said on June 22 that China strongly condemns the US attack on Iran and called on the parties to resort to a fundamental way out of this situation through peaceful negotiations. On the same day, a statement appeared on the website of the Russian Foreign Ministry, in which Russia also condemned the operation and noted "an obvious round of dangerous escalation of the conflict" in the Middle East.
