A bull terrier dog attacked a woman and her child in the entrance of an apartment building in Vladivostok. This was reported on June 23 in the prosecutor's office of Primorsky Krai.

"In the entrance of the house <...> a bull terrier dog ran out of the apartment and attacked a mother and her child, biting their legs," the agency said in a Telegram channel.

According to the publication, the incident occurred on the evening of June 17, and an investigation was launched into the incident, during which the owner of the dog was identified.

The Prosecutor's office considered it lawful to initiate a criminal case under Part 2 of Article 115 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Intentional infliction of minor harm to health using an object used as a weapon").

It is noted that the agency is monitoring the progress of the investigation to identify the circumstances of the incident.

The State Duma proposes to introduce an article in the Criminal Code for owners who do not watch their pets.

On June 8, the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Krasnodar Territory reported that while walking a dog attacked its owner, having previously mauled another dog. It is noted that the aggressive animal died at the moment when they tried to pull it away from its owner with the help of suffocating techniques.
