Iran accused Netanyahu of involving the United States in an "unjustified" conflict.

The United States, which has attacked three Iranian nuclear facilities, was involved by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in an "unjustified" conflict. This was announced on June 22 by Iran's Permanent Representative to the United Nations, Amir Saeed Irvani.
"Netanyahu managed to take over US foreign policy and drag the United States into another costly and unjustified conflict," he said at a meeting of the UN Security Council.
Irvani stressed that Washington had started a conflict with Tehran on an "absurd" pretext. He noted that all the accusations made by the American side against Iran are politically motivated.
According to him, the attacks on Iran's nuclear infrastructure are the result of illegal activities by the United States, as well as evidence of the biased attitude of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IATA) towards Tehran.
Efi Dufferin, a representative of the Israel Defense Forces (IDF), said on June 22 that the American attack on Iran's nuclear infrastructure was carried out in coordination with the Israeli army. He also noted that the parties had been in contact for a long time, and in recent years their joint work "has become more active."
