Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin has launched the technical launch of a section of the Troitskaya metro line of the capital from the station "Innovatorskaya" to "ZIL". The official announced this in his Telegram channel on June 21.

According to him, this is the last stage of preparation for the opening of stations for passengers. The length of the section is 9.7 km, writes RT. He expressed the hope that the new stations will receive the first passengers on the City Day.

We are talking about the stations "Vavilovskaya", "Akademicheskaya", "Krymskaya" and "ZIL".

"It is important that of the four stations, three have transfers to other metro lines. But the most important thing is that the metro will be closer for 600,000 Muscovites," the Moscow City News agency quoted Sobyanin as saying.

The opening of a new section of the Troitskaya Line will improve the transport accessibility of the Danilovsky, Donskoy, Gagarinsky, Akademicheskiy, Kotlovka, Nagorny and Lomonosovsky districts, RIAMO clarifies. Trips to the center for residents of these areas will become 1.5–2 times faster, travel time will be reduced by 10-15 minutes, the website notes. kp.ru . For example, it is now possible to get from the station "Innovatorskaya" to the MCC more than 12 minutes faster.

During the technical start-up, a test motorcycle was launched along the new section. Now, specialists will set up engineering systems and equipment at stations and in tunnels, Moscow 24 reports.

On June 10, Sergei Sobyanin spoke about the use of domestic equipment in the construction of the subway. The products of domestic companies, which are not inferior in quality to foreign ones, are actively involved in the development of the capital's transport infrastructure.
