The Iranian Foreign Minister accused the United States of betraying diplomacy

The United States betrayed diplomacy with its attack on Iran's nuclear facilities. This was announced on June 22 by the Foreign Minister of the Islamic Republic, Abbas Araqchi.
"The United States is not diplomatic and understands only the language of force and threats. They have shown that they do not respect international law," he is quoted as saying in the Telegram channel of the Mehr agency.
He stressed that the United States not only withdrew from the dialogue with Iran and allowed Israel to attack the country, but also attacked peaceful facilities of the Islamic Republic themselves.
Araqchi added that Iran is forced to respond to the US attacks on its territory. The Foreign Minister stressed that Tehran reserves the right to use all opportunities to protect its sovereignty, interests and people.
Earlier in the day, the Russian Foreign Ministry condemned the US attacks on Iranian nuclear facilities. The ministry stressed that this irresponsible decision grossly violates the UN Charter.
On June 22, US President Donald Trump announced that the US attack was aimed at three Iranian nuclear facilities in Fordo, Natanz and Isfahan. According to Trump, the operation was successful. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said that American strikes could change history.
