The series takes place in the 1960s. It tells about the confrontation between the USSR and the USA, as well as about the secret contact between Brezhnev and Brandt, organized by the special services of the Soviet Union.
On May 13, the projects of the National Media Group (NMG) were awarded at the XII Award of the Association of Film and Television Producers (APKiT). The award for "Best Production Designer" was given to Sergey Ivanov, who worked on the series "GDR".
