The French Foreign Minister expressed concern about the US strikes on Iran.

France expresses concern about the US strikes on three sites of the Iranian nuclear program. This was announced on June 22 by French Foreign Minister Jean-Noel Barraud.
"France notes with concern the strikes carried out last night by the United States of America on three sites of the Iranian nuclear program. She did not take part in these strikes or in their planning," Barro wrote on the social network X (ex. Twitter).
According to him, France's priority is to ensure the safety of its citizens, as well as the safety of its partners in Iran.
"France is convinced that a long-term solution to this issue requires a negotiated solution within the framework of the Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons (NPT). She remains ready to contribute to this together with her partners," the French Foreign Minister said.
Barraud added that Paris has taken note of the statement by the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), which confirms that no high levels of radiation have been detected at this stage.
Earlier, US President Donald Trump said that the US attack was aimed at three Iranian nuclear facilities in Fordo, Natanz and Isfahan. According to Trump, the operation was successful. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said that American strikes could change history.
On the same day, the Russian Foreign Ministry said that Russia condemns the US attacks on Iranian nuclear facilities, this irresponsible decision grossly violates the UN Charter.
