One person died as a result of a fire in the north of Moscow.


In a multi-storey apartment building on Uchinskaya Street, an apartment on the ground floor caught fire, one person was killed, two more were injured. This was reported on June 22 in the press service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia.
"With the help of a rescue device from the overlying floors, firefighters from the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations rescued two people. Unfortunately, a deceased person was found in the fire, and two more people were injured. The fire was eliminated by 21 employees and seven pieces of equipment of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations," the publication says in the Telegram channel.
An eyewitness told Izvestia that shortly after the fire started in the apartment of a multi-storey building on Uchinskaya Street, thick smoke began to fill the entrance and penetrate into neighboring rooms.
"It was scary enough because smoke quickly began to fill the entrance. When we left, 5-10 minutes later, there was already 30% smoke in the apartment, probably, although all the doors and windows were closed," Alexander shared.
According to an eyewitness, shortly before the fire, he and his wife heard a loud bang. The woman mistook it for a thunderclap, and the man decided that something large had fallen on the balcony.
Five people, including two children, died in a fire in Korolev, Moscow region. It was noted that the fire occurred in a three-room apartment on the fourth floor of apartment building No. 1 on Korsakov Street. A woman was rescued from a burning apartment.
