A special military operation to protect the civilian population of Donbass has been conducted by Russia since February 24, 2022. You can track the progress of the joint forces of Russia, the Donetsk and Lugansk People's Republics (DPR and LPR), as well as view the map of military operations on June 22 in the Izvestia material.

The Russian Defense Ministry reported that units of the Zapad group of forces had decisively liberated the Petrovskoye settlement in the Kharkiv region. In this area, the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) lost up to 210 soldiers, four electronic warfare stations, six pickup trucks, an American M113 armored personnel carrier and three ammunition depots.

In addition, units of the Vostok group of forces, moving deep into the enemy's defenses, successfully completed the liberation of the village of Perebudova in the DPR. In the group's area of responsibility, enemy losses amounted to up to 195 military personnel, two artillery pieces, two armored combat vehicles and five vehicles.

Air defense systems destroyed 164 aircraft-type drones, six American JDAM guided aerial bombs and two HIMARS multiple launch rocket launchers.

In total, since the beginning of the special military operation, 663 aircraft, 64846 unmanned aerial vehicles, 37138 units of special military vehicles, 24006 tanks and other armored combat vehicles, 1572 multiple rocket launchers, 611 anti-aircraft missile systems, 26486 field artillery and mortars, 283 helicopters have been destroyed.
