US President Donald Trump's decision to attack Iran's nuclear facilities was stupid and violated all laws of warfare. This was announced on June 22 by former Austrian Foreign Minister Karin Kneissl.

"US President Trump did this without the consent of Congress. I did not expect such a stupid decision," she said in her Telegram channel.

In her opinion, Iran now has no restrictions for attacking US military bases in the region, where 40,000 American troops are stationed. Kneissl also believes that Trump's decision was dictated by pressure from Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

"All laws of warfare have been violated. Trump was pressured by Netanyahu. But this is not an excuse," Kneissl clarified.

The US attack on Iran's three nuclear facilities became known on June 21. US President Donald Trump said that the attack was aimed at three Iranian nuclear facilities in Fordo, Natanz and Isfahan. According to Trump, the operation was successful. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said that American strikes could change history.

Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi, in turn, accused the United States of violating the UN Charter, international law and the Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons (NPT). The minister stressed that the attack from Washington would have lasting consequences.
