Iran used new Khaibar missiles for the first time in its morning attack on Israel. This was reported on June 22 by the Mehr news agency with reference to the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC).

"During the operation, the Khaybar multi-charge ballistic missile from the third generation of the IRGC air and space missiles was used for the first time, in which a new and unexpected tactic was used for a more accurate, destructive and effective strike," the publication says.

It is noted that the main capabilities of the armed forces of the Islamic Republic have not yet been activated.

The US attack on Iran's three nuclear facilities became known on June 21. US President Donald Trump said that the attack was aimed at three Iranian nuclear facilities in Fordo, Natanz and Isfahan. According to Trump, the operation was successful. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, in turn, said that American strikes could change history.

Later, Iranian Foreign Minister Araqchi said that the United States had violated the UN Charter and would face long-term consequences. The minister stressed that in accordance with the UN Charter, which allows for a legitimate response in self-defense, Iran reserves all possible options to protect its sovereignty, interests and people.
