The Yemeni army on Sunday, June 22, declared its readiness to enter into a military conflict on the side of Iran.

"Yemen will officially enter the war. Keep your ships away from our territorial waters," the Yemeni army said in a post on the social network X (ex. Twitter).

It clarifies that Yemen supports Iran in its confrontation with Israel and the United States.

Yahya Sariah, a representative of the armed forces of the movement, said on June 21 that the Houthis from the Yemeni Shiite Ansar Allah movement would attack US ships in the Red Sea if Washington intervened in the conflict between Iran and Israel.

Later that day, it became known about the US strike on three Iranian nuclear facilities. US President Donald Trump said that the attack was aimed at three Iranian nuclear facilities in Fordo, Natanz and Isfahan. According to Trump, the operation was successful. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, in turn, said that American strikes could change history.

Later, Iranian Foreign Minister Araqchi said that the United States had violated the UN Charter and would face long-term consequences. The minister stressed that in accordance with the UN Charter, which allows for a legitimate response in self-defense, Iran reserves all possible options to protect its sovereignty, interests and people.
